This is the story of a very Hungry Turkey. This baby turkey hatches from her egg and spend her time eating and growing. The story begins on a Monday morning and goes throughout the entire week. As children read, they will review the days of the week and learn about what turkeys really eat in the wild. This story is a picture book appropriate for children as young as 5 years old. The readability is at about second grade level.
