The shapes were collaged together in the formation of each sheet, allowing the fibers to lock with one another to hold the pieces together. Therefore, no glue was used in the creation of the illustrations. Brittany also designed the typeface that was used in the book, and named it after her dog, "Bailee". - Brittany Spencer is a Communication Design MFA candidate at Louisiana Tech University, expecting graduation in May 2014. She is from Booneville, Mississippi. Her Associate's degree was received at Northeast Mississippi Community College, and her Bachelor of Fine Arts was completed at Mississippi State University.
