This title is printed to order. This book may have been self-published. If so, we cannot guarantee the quality of the content. In the main most books will have gone through the editing process however some may not. We therefore suggest that you be aware of this before ordering this book. If in doubt check either the author or publisher’s details as we are unable to accept any returns unless they are faulty. Please contact us if you have any questions.
This study guide is broken down into six chapters: Surveying Practice, Property, Easements, Roads, Water, and Subdivision Rules. Sources used include many writings by Knud Hermansen, State Statutes, and my previous academic work at the University of New Hampshire and the University of Maine. It is not intended to replace these resources or to negate the importance of reading them in their entirety, but to provide a jumping-off point for those seeking licensure in Maine. More general topics, such as applying the priority of calls to a boundary determination, which may be included on the exam, are better covered in other courses and books. What is included here is intentionally narrowed in scope to focus only on Maine. Revised Jan 2025
