How can one truly know who they are?

I have spent years of my life debating this very idea. Contained within these pages, is my best attempt at giving an answer to that question. I have experienced many great things in my life, as well as my fair share of the tragic.

And it is only through experiencing both of those extremes that I have found who I am. In this compilation of poetry , you will follow me through the many levels of human emotion on each and every page. You will know what it was like for me to have had cancer while still being a teenager, and then being married and divorced before I could legally drink, as well as all of the triumphs and tribulations I went through before and after.

My life has been anything but "normal" ...and I wouldn't have it any other way.
