In the summer of 1981 married couple Rob and Cathy Robinson, plus their year and a half daughter, spent a summer 7,000 feet up in the Sierra Nevada Mountains working at a Christian Summer Camp called Quaker Meadow run by the Friends Church. Working 6 days a week, usually 16 hour days, Rob nonetheless managed to keep a journal each day chronicling their adventures and the staff who put up with all the craziness of summer camp.
