Periodically, this book was written methodically upon nights spent in my dad's studio in downtown Sedalia, Missouri. My style of poetry is free-verse, some call it, but I like to call it lyrical prose, poetry, and plain speak essays of merit. My prose, poems, and essays combine spontaneous thought and planning and are often pointed in this book. Sometimes I nail the works upon first draft, sometimes they must be revised thoroughly contingent upon satisfying my own sensibilities. It is at this point of satisfaction when I know I can release my work into the world.
