This handy pocket size reference book was written with new ministers in mind as a basic guideline to help with communion, baptism, wedding, and funeral services. This reference guide contains a simple outline for these services and can be used in conjunction with the training the minister has received from their local Overseer. You can add or delete any part of the sample programs as needed to fit your church or congregation needs. For example, if you are performing a baby dedication you can tweak the communion program to include "the charge" to the parents, grandparents, god-parents, family and friends. The scripture references are merely given as a starting point because there are numerous other scriptures throughout the Bible that one could use to convey the message of hope, love, and protection. The planning notes section at the end of the book can be used by the minister to record names, addresses or special requests that might be needed at a later date for a particular service.
