In addition she received the Dorothy Daniels' writing award, a fiction award sponsored by Crosscurrents, the Oktoberfest award, first place and honorable mention in the Dog Days of Summer contest sponsored by Penwomen, was featured in The Writers' Program Quarterly, and she has given several poetry readings.
