In Retaliation Consequences Capt JT Buckton, his crew and ship are once again put to the test. This time Capt Buckton is assigned the position of Deputy Commander of a task force being sent to the alliance planets Logel and Styros. Those two planets have come under attack by unknown forces and at first this seems like any other invasion of alliance space but things are vastly different. At headquarters and by many in the fleet, JT is recognized as the best tactical expert in the alliance. So being assigned as deputy commander makes sense since the task force commander has zero battle experience and almost no classroom tactical training and even less scenario battlefield tactical training. However, the admiral disregards Capt Buckton's battle plan in favor of his own and as a result things begin to go awry. Tensions escalate, some very heated words are exchanged, including some on JT's own staf recommending he relieve the admiral of his command. Are they talkng mutiny?
