The failure to call evil by its name leads to more evil and tyranny, we all know what happens when good men and women do nothing to fight all forms of tyranny, whether it is child abuse, genocides, bullying, intimidation and so on. Don't get me wrong, I'm not looking for a perfect world, but we cannot carry on using our realities as excuses to do nothing, the more we take a stand against things that are unjust, the more we can learn and improve, that's why I use poetry as a powerful language to externalize my thoughts and raise concerns on matters like: religious fundamentalism, corruption, poverty, genocides, abuse, bullying, you name it. It's not about paying attention to them; it's about identifying what they are and finding effective solutions. I also believe without justice we victims of tyranny can never get peace, everything is linked and connected somehow.
