This is a collection of modern, nightside fairy tales. These unsettling stories are inspired by the weird fiction tradition of horror writers like Algernon Blackwood, H.P. Lovecraft, Thomas Ligotti and Laird Barron, but with pre-teen to adult readers in mind. Set in a familiar, but unspecified time, in a familiar, but unspecified place, these stories tell the adventures of two childhood friends, Clara and Payton, as they uncover the reality of terrible, alternative dimensions, while wandering through the dark landscape of our own.
