Casglwyd y storiau hyn at ei gilydd gan T Rowland Hughes ac fe'u cyhoeddwyd yn 1938 dan y teitl Storiau'r Henllys Fawr. Bu farw W J Griffith cyn i'r gyfrol weld golau dydd. Darlledwyd addasiadau teledu o'r straeon gan Gareth Miles ar S4C yn yr 1980au.
