Questo e il primo Volume (25 Sonate) dei quattro che conterranno le 91 Sonate per organo che compongono il manoscritto MPG 13 della Libreria Musicale della Verna, redatto da padre Giuseppe Lorenzo Pagnucci da Fabriano (1737-1802). Testimonianza davvero unica del genere della sonata per organo della seconda meta del Settecento del centro Italia. Pagnucci non riporta alcun nome degli autori delle singole composizioni: se alcune sono probabilmente di sua composizione, altre sono certamente di Pietro Morandi e di autori ignoti. Quindi ecco perche Sonate Anonime.
