This area of British postal history is totally undervalued. The only previous book, of which we are aware, was that by James Mackay called 'Scottish twin-arc postmarks with stampers numbers' (1983). This text is different to his as it is in colour, it introduces the area and it shows how to exhibit such material. It's of major importance for Scottish postal history.
