The online romance of Amber from London and Groovy Taterbug from Kentucky dates back to 2006 back in the days when the "myspace" website was all the rage! Groovy Taterbug's character was the infamous Hippy re-incarnated into the body of a Westie dog!Groovy climbed the stairway to Heaven on 1st February 2009 and has waited a few years for his Angel Amber to join him. Amber bravely battled against a non-cancerous tumor on her heart which was originally diagnosed in February 2011 ~ Amber became an angel on 3rd July 2012 at the age of 14 years and 5 months. Amber's story has been discussed by myself on BBC Radio London's thursday night show "Barking at the moon". We would like to say a big thankyou to BBC Broadcasters Joanne Good and Anna Webb and Producer Mel Polydorou from Barking at the Moon for dedicating their radio show to little Amber on Thursday 5th July 2012 ~ Thanks to all whose pets featured in the beautiful scenes in this project and to all who have been there for us since 2006.
