A Twenty-Twelve Christmas carol is a gritty modern day retelling of the classic story of "A Christmas Carol" by Charles Dickens. Eddie Scuds, drug dealer, money lender and pimp, is visited on Christmas Eve 2012 by the ghost of his former partner Jake Marlow, murdered seven Christmas Eves ago. Jake's ghost warns Eddie of the dire peril awaiting him if he does not alter his ways and having interceded on Eddie's behalf it tells him he will be visited by three spirits. A trip through Eddies past ensues, followed by a glimpse at the present day Christmas celebrations of acquaintances and strangers alike, ending with a view of the future that awaits Eddie should he fail to heed the warning he's been given.
