This is a study of Japanese government organization for waging war, particularly to consider the degree of cooperation that existed between components of the Japanese armed forces, and between them and other governmental agencies. Also discussed are the solutions reached on various command, control, and logistical problems, and the effects of those solutions employed upon preparation for war and the course of military and naval operations. The contents contain plans for conquest, the Japanese people, war organization of the government and the national economy, interservice relationships (relationships between the services and other departments of government), and war planning in the Army and Navy general staffs
