The Armor of God: A Divine Defense is a series of sermons directed primarily toward new converts and the young Christians who may have expectations that since giving their life to Christ, the Christian life will be nothing but smooth sailing from now until eternity. On the Christian walk, however, Satan strives to, and thrives on, victimizing whoever he can, causing conflict and confusion for the new convert. A divine defense empowers the Christian to resist him, to rise above his attacks and become victorious. That divine defense consists of the armor of God, which Paul describes so eloquently in Ephesians 6: 10-18. This armor has been provided for the believer so that he or she can dress for success, be overcomers in spiritual warfare, and mature in their Christian walk to the point where they can say, as the senior, seasoned saints say, aEvery day with Jesus is sweeter than the day before.a
