These are not enthusiastic fancies, nor are they embellished by flowers of rhetoric; and yet each word tells upon the listener, and every paragraph is fraught with meaning. The reasoning is clear and perfect, working conviction as its inevitable result; and the means pointed out practical and within the compass of human effort.
