She finds forbidden love, and has to deal with her own betrayal. She grows up and learns that her life never was ordinary. She finds out that she has magic living in her blood. Kayda learns how to control it, and how to use it to protect herself. The villains want Kayda because she is beautiful and has very dark powers that they want to use for evil. When Kayda realizes they want her for her magic, she starts to weed out who’s her friend, and who’s her enemy. She learns about survival, and what matters when you are on the run.
