The first thing everyone needs to know about me is that I have never written poems before. Thatas right, except for being forced to in school. They were short and really not much to look at. This all changed in early October 2008. Earlier in September of the same year, I was diagnosed with liver damage. All the symptoms of cirrhosis due to years of heavy drinking . I was devastated and feared deathas approach. I did the only thing I knew to do, my only hope was GOD. I prayed and asked friends, any believers, to pray also. I was hoping God would give me another chance. One friend told me not to worry, that this has already been taken care of. I asked how. She said it just is. I received the results, and my liver was perfectly normal! Since then, I began writing poems. I had fifty in the first four weeks. I believe God has given me these poems to share. I hope everyone that reads them will be blessed, and I thank God for my second chance.
