A Poetry Odyssey is a collection of snapshots of time, place, and memory set to verse, from the early age of my life to the present. I can only hope that this collection brings a smile, piques a treasured memory, causes one to question what was, what is and what will be. It seeks to push back the shrouds that blind us to the wonders and mysteries of this life as well as creation itself and perhaps to dream of what is beyond our current understanding. The book speaks of life, as a child, a philosopher, or a visionary might see it, from life in the hills of east Tennessee set in the a40s and a50s, to the Rockies and Cascades, to the wonders of the mind, to love, to the thresholds of modern civilization.
