Dya-Na-Sore, Oder V3: Die Wanderer (1840)

Brimstone Pass is the haven where people gather on Kansas prairie plains. Brimstone is sulfur, the remains after all other materials are burned, after all matter is wasted. Brimstone Pass is where some people settled and lived long enough until being spared, becoming like true brimstone, that which is all used up yet lingering. Imagine transposing an alternate life, corresponding directly beyond the parallel of the here and now, one alternate existence that you are permitted to fall in and out of. Suppose that whether it is a blessing, or just strange luck, you feel that you actually belong there. There would be two places to find yourself, two homes to come home to, two universes to discover life in and two places to maintain your thoughts. Imagine being granted this possibility just when living in the real world proved no longer good enough.
