The Church of Jezebel: Hijacking the Gospel
The main theme of the book is based on Genesis 3:5 when the serpent tempts Eve and Adam to disobey God to become like God. Unfortunately, several mega-churches today encourage their members that they too can become like God. The end result is often destructive to the church members, families and friends. In this fast-moving and often humorous novel, Christina, age 18, is admitted to a Bible college with the intent of becoming a mighty warrior and servant of God. Christina’s roommate, Becky, is dating the pastor’s son and becomes pregnant. Three weeks later the college announces that Becky committed suicide, however, a detective investigating the death makes it clear to Christina that Becky was brutally murdered. The novel concludes with a missions’ trip to Haiti and everything is not what it seems. This novel broaches the Jezebel spirit, faith healing, the name it and claim it doctrine, dominion theology, false prophets, Christ-consciousness and more. Some popular televangelists may not want you to read this book.
