This is a story about a small, but determined, group of retired non-commissioned officers who are fed up with the miseries caused by the illegal drug trade which infests our southern border with impunity and little or no consequence. Mexico, having a passive population and a corrupt government, has become the conduit for all things illegal moving north. The Mexican drug cartel, made up of five key families, is a violent and ruthless organization which has staged assassinations of public officials at a rate of about two hundred a week in recent years. Until now, there was no one who would take them on or give them a dose of what they dish outa]VIOLENCE, FEAR and INTIMIDATION. This group of old non-coms puts together a plan which is stunning and audacious in its execution. Going in, they know their lives are on the line, and that patience and thoroughness in planning is crucial to their success. They know they must coordinate and execute raids which will exact total destruction of bases of power with synchronization rarely seen except in combat operations. Their challenge is daunting in that they must get in, hit hard, take lives and get out with a precision that minimizes collateral damage and maximizes their own safety.
