Bergischer Volkshumor (1907)

Ten years after the war, an American diving team is sent to the Toplitzsee Lake in Austria. Their mission is to recover the gold Hitler’s escaping officers dumped when the allies advanced. The mission turns into a total disaster, and the men are trapped underwater. However, they’re rescued by a strange community who are living in an old underground bunker. The Americans find they are actually prisoners and in dire trouble. Escape is impossible, and the whole situation gradually deteriorates into a terrifying, fatal, life and death scenario. Ten years on, the American government, under constant pressure from the relatives, decides to try and recover the remains. They find an unbelievable scene, as well as the horrendous secrets of this evil community.
