Aubrey was born of British parents on January 25, 1948, in the Far East where he lived for about five years, prior to moving to London, England. In 1956 his family immigrated to Canada and settled in British Columbia. He has always been creative, enjoying reading and writing short stories. He began composing poetry when he was working as a truck driver, and after a disabling accident in 2005, he was able to devote all his time to his prose and poetry. His poems are taken from personal and other real-life experiences and, mostly, are expressed from a childas unique point of view and perspective. He now resides in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, with his wife and cat.
