Mr. Crawford is a currently an architectural designer at a small architectural firm in South Florida and has been a CAD (computer aided design) designer for close to 10 years. In his spare time he likes to write poetry, which he uses as one of many ways that he has to express himself because it has no boundaries around his creativity. He has been writing for over 18 years and has been writing poetry for the last 11 years. He likes to think of his work as a mixture of rhyming techniques and philosophical thoughts. Mr. Crawford is the webmaster and editor of his own award-winning poetry website, The Underground Poets Society (The Un.P.S.). The Un.P.S was founded to display his poetic talents as well as the work of other poets all around the globe. The website focuses on, but is not limited to, poetry written by people of color from all nationalities. It also features The Annual Underground Poets Society Poetry Contest. Antwian Marcel Crawford also known as Intellect was born on January 11, 1972, in Jersey City, New Jersey, but he spent most of his younger years in Radford, Virginia, a small city about 30 miles southwest of Roanoke, Virginia. He now resides in South Florida, where he has been living since 1993, after living for a few years in Newton, North Carolina.
