Wires is about two young boys, Deke and Tommy, from two distinctly different backgrounds. Through their trials and tribulations these two young boys become unlikely friends and help each other in the process. Students with autism have their own unique way of learning. This book was written by a special education teacher and an autism mentor in the hopes of helping the general education population better understand these truly unique and special individuals.
