This book is apolitical–political parties are specifically ignored. This is about patriotism involving current affairs and its relationship to our history and the Founding Fathers. America’s historic designation as The World’s Melting Pot is being eroded. Due to bilingual requirements and required designation of what type of American one might be, we are more of a Salad Bowl. The Melting Pot implies the melding of ingredients; the Salad Bowl implies separate ingredients lying side by side. America has the best governmental system ever devised. America is the most free place in the world. To illustrate this conclusion, one story is about Astronaut Colonel James B. Irwin. Due to his notoriety, he had the privilege of talking to kings, queens, dictators, emperors, princes, sheiks, presidents, and prime ministers about his walk on the moon. He always made the same statement– There is no place like America.
