I view poetry as telling a story in the fewest words possible. I write my poetry so that when I close my eyes, I can see what I am writing about. Poetry has always been a gift, one that I love to share, so when I had the chance to write this book, even though I was hesitant, I finally viewed it as the ultimate gift.
