Owen Robert Cullimore was born in Reading, Berkshire in 1945. He now lives in Hythe, Southampton, England with his wife Gillian and has three daughters Donna, Allison and Melanie. He enjoys writing poetry and creating pictures in the readeras mind, which is why his work is considerably different to the norm. His sister Linda, whom he met for the first time in 2005 after forty-six years, introduced him to poetry. She is an accomplished poet in her own right and they enjoy writing books together and have had three published to date. Many of the creations contained herein are based on personal experiences and from just being a student in the school of life from which ideas are obtained by observing and listening for that special word or sound that brings the inspiration to create a poem or just lines of observational writing.
