Born in the city and raised in town, there was nothing in his few years to prepare Larry for life on a farm with few if any modern conveniences and a bunch of strange animals to boot. But, when he was seven, his parents moved him into just such a situation. It did not, however, take him long to learn that individuals in each species have personalities of their own that had to be dealt with. If there was to be food on the table, the whole family had responsibilities they had to meet. These stories are of some of the animals and events encountered in the process and the lessons, attitudes and morals acquired, never to be forgotten.
