Historische Gedichte (1897)

Grave Silence is the story of a man who has experienced the life and hard times of a Texas farmer. But through these times he has kept true to the idea of love for family. He never failed the family and was there for them even in the most difficult of times and circumstances. But when this man needs the support of this family for his own life crisis, he finds himself abandoned by those he loves the most. Disillusioned, the man then decides to start life anew but this attempt results in further disaster. Facing the ultimate wrong of his murder, the man demonstrates that love overcomes the hatred and evil in the human spirit.
