Entretiens Sur La Theorie de La Peinture (1820)

Shortly after his wife and young son are killed by a car bomb that was meant for him, Jack Logan, a Hollywood Police detective, starts to receive typed threatening notes. After a couple of quick moves to different apartments, he settles in Topanga Canyon out of fear from the cat and mouse game the killer is playing, making Logan the hunted prey. Determined to take a stand, Logan buys a house up in the canyon from Rebecca Peters, the canyon realtor, who begins to stir his heart giving him new-born hope. After learning of Loganas move to the canyon, the killer closes in for the kill. Rebecca, who appears unexpectedly at Loganas house, is taken captive by the killer. Returning home, Logan takes a bullet in the shoulder in a struggle with the killer.
