Nina Davidson is an ordinary woman attending university when extraordinary things begin to happen to her. She is informed that life on Earth was created as an experiment by a group from another planet called the Designers. She finds out that she is the next step in the evolution of the human race. She also learns that the Designers and a group called the renegades have plans for her due to the abilities she has developed. But Nina has plans of her own and she fights every step of the way to make sure her plans are the ones that win out in the end.
