Wonder Stories from Herodotus (1900)

Amelia Olson only wants two things: to be a pilot and find true love. She is named for Amelia Earhart and grows up worshiping her. Men who read this will suspect she succeeded through seduction; women will be confident she made it through merit and talent. It was Ameliaas strength of character, however, that sustained her through adversity. She soon meets someone who is determined to ruin her life or end it. Amelia has been sleeping around, searching for Mr. Right, and thinks a student pilot named Kenneth Osbury is the one to fulfill her dreams. Ken has a dark past with the CIA and is not all he seems to be. He quickly involves Amelia in smuggling military weapons and drugs in her airplane. Her illusions shattered, Amelia calls a friend in the FBI and reports Kenas activities.
