My house is foreclosing–where am I going to live? This stupid cast on my arm is keeping me from writing, and I can’t return to work for a month. I’m broke, (again.) All at once my life was turned upside down by, of all things, a bicycle accident–or was it an accident? Perhaps or maybe it was a wake-up call. So I made a list of all the things I need to get done before they lock me out of my house, but I really don’t care. Today I don’t feel like doing anything, I said with a smile. And with that, I hung out with Jan on a spring afternoon, eating dalmas and humus, (and a brownie.) The following few months I realized a few things–what a true friend is; how insignificant I actually was; how great brownies are; and there might actually be a God.
