Defeating Darkness, the second book in The Light Is Within You series, begins where the first book, Comfort from the Storm, ended. Comfort from the Storm, was meant to calm the fears and anxieties of those in turmoil. Defeating Darkness goes on to explain, that once one has assurance, one must hail a call to action. All things worth having are not given, but earned. God calls us to fight for eternal peace by defeating the darkness within us and around our fellow men.
