Carl Kerry was a devoted husband, hard worker and high-adventure enthusiast, at least until his wife and unborn child were killed in a horrific automobile crash. Carl’s best friend, Victor Santos, noticing that Carl was losing his self-confidence and the joy in life itself, takes him on a spelunking adventure a year following the fatal collision. Meanwhile, Edward Manatu, general of a Texas militia group, is preparing his diabolical plans for domestic terrorism. Ed would recover his special and deadly parcel by venturing with Aaron Stein to the cave where Carl and Vic would shortly arrive. An earthquake causes all of their plans to be cast aside, as they unwittingly travel through time and enter the world of a primitive and magical, yet dangerous, past. The explorers encounter not only a native shaman, but also the spirits that lay between this world - and the next.
