If we go to the Bible, it is here that we will discover where it all began. After being delivered from Egypt, God directed a chosen people into the wilderness of Sinai. Once there, God enacted a law that revealed his will as to the human conduct of mankind. The whole of the law was prescribed in three parts as to a judicial law, ceremonial law, and moral law. This moral law is in reference to the Ten Commandments. It was generally designated as a guardian to the Jewish race and a guide to lead them until Christ came.
