Throughout history, it has been a mystery and a puzzle to the Christian world, as well as the secular world, what Godas intentions were for giving us the Ten Commandments. If we go to the Bible, it is here that we will discover where it all began. After being delivered from Egypt, God directed a chosen people into the wilderness of Sinai. Once there, God enacted a law that revealed his will as to the human conduct of mankind. The whole of the law was prescribed in three parts as to a judicial law, ceremonial law, and moral law. This moral law is in reference to the Ten Commandments. It was generally designated as a guardian to the Jewish race and a guide to lead them until Christ came.
