Hi, Iam Leroy Lightning, but Iam known to most as Murph! Iave been told by many I should put my life outdoors experiences and memories in writing. A writer Iam not, a storyteller I am. Iave told people about something I did in the past and they said awow, that brings back good memories. We used to do that all the time and Iave almost forgot about it until you brought it up.a Not me, Iam still doing it! I have a lot of pictures, but they really donat tell the real story, they just make good points, or proof if you will, because abelieve it or else,a I have witnesses. It didnat take me long in my outdoor life to learn it wasnat just the kill, the trophies, the big fish, or the trip if you didnat have a long-lasting memory with a really good story to go with it. Please keep in mind I can spend day after days in the hills without hunting or fishing and enjoy every minute, every beauty, the trees, and the birds. Thereas no end to it, you just need to go see for yourself. What you read from here forward, the names have been limited to first name only to protect the guilty, not for reason to hide, but more for privacy. If I can inspire a young person or family to enjoy what so many of us living in the land of opportunities have, Iad be a happy person. Even more so, to get some attention to preserve what Montana has to offer. What Iam saying is, I havenat done what many others havenat, Iam just not sure they enjoyed it as much as I have. Itas been pretty much my life with real meaning, and Iam sure my children will pass it on to their children, and thatas already started. Iave been known to make up words, in fact Iam really good at it. So, if you can get past the bad grammar and my dry sense of humor, I hope you will enjoy this as much as I enjoyed doing it.
