I have been a vampire for the last 280 years. My family, the Royal family, what is left of us, is also vampire. Brought across in my 38th year, I became king upon the death of my brother King Ahija. I remember the night it was done, I mean being brought across, opening my eyes as a new vampire. The night was alive with sounds, creatures running about I had never noticed as a human. My brothers were there to meet me on my born date as we call it, explaining to me of how I could never walk again in the sunlight.
