Biographia Dramatica V2: Or a Companion to the Playhouse (1812)
Man is born free but everywhere he goes he is in chains. This line, accredited to French philosopher Jean Jacque Rousseau, is a perfect portrayal of OtienoA[a–a[s life. The only begotten son, Otieno is spoiled rotten. He defies all the teachings of his father and drops out of school only to end up as a perpetual scalawag. His entire life is punctuated with tragedy as he unleashes trouble on almost everybody he comes across. Like a fly that perches on a scrotum, he sagaciously gets away with battery and murder of more than ten people. What will bring to an end this invincible trail of horrendousness? Who will slay the slayer and thrive in this thriller?
