Illustrated Popular Biography of Connecticut (1891)

During summer vacation on the Cape, Sienna Ricci, a gifted divorcee, is unexpectedly contacted through her computer by a pair of spirit guides who hazily forecast the lessons that are to follow. When Sienna is cajoled into pet-sitting for a widow and old family friend, she connects with a handsome neighbor, ghostwriter John Dagineaux. Sparks fly, but soon sputter, as John becomes more guarded about his past with his ex- fiancA©e, the ever-volatile Samantha Amato. Things go from bad to worse when Siennaas estranged mother emerges from the woodwork, bringing with her an entourage of shady characters. Sienna suddenly finds she is swimming in a snake pit of deception and discovers, with the help of her guides, that her only means of survival will be in trusting her instincts.
