Born in Dalton, Georgia, I was raised with Southern pride as I began exploring options of occupation. I thought about nursing or pediatrics, as well as teaching and theater. But my heart belonged to my poems. I have been writing for eleven years and have developed my own style along the way. I have traveled across this country three times and have discovered the beauty of a land we call America. Most of my poems are reactions to my relationships, both good and bad. I also write about myself as though viewing me from third person. I enjoy writing and I enjoy my perception of the world. I hope you enjoy reading my book. Thank you for the support.
