Manhood Faith and Courage (1906)

Jen Hadley is a single mother of three children who struggles along in life as a bank teller. One big bonus about work: Mark! He is her handsome, younger co-worker who makes Jen crazy, so in love with him is she. If only he knew it! Then Rick enters her life: predictable, comfortable, music-teaching Rick. Jen purchases a 10-lesson set of piano lessons from him. She did NOT, however, bargain for the fact that Rick would fall for HER so hard! Jen tells Rick that she likes someone else and that she would just like to be friends. Rick is crushed but accepts the offer of friendship. The two of them see each other… a lot. All the while, Jen tries little tricks to get Mark to notice her. As she gets closer and closer to winning her man, though, why is she suddenly worried about losing Rick? Weren’t they just friends?…
