Letters on the Events of the Revolution in France: Addressed to His Friends in New York (1817)

Close your eyes and imagine yourself on a sweltering summer weekend. Chris Langley, her husband Tom, and four friends are on a leisurely float trip down a mellow little river in the middle of nowhere. They only want to get away from everyday hassles, unwind a little, relax a lot. What starts out as heaven, quickly turns into hell and the six friends soon face danger and possible death at every turn of this remote river. Within twenty-four hours one of them mysteriously dies, turning their lives upside down as they struggle to get home.
