A’ Lexus is a successful attorney, who started her law firm with her partner Kathy Bates. Her life was great, until her fiancAA© Davion was offered a new job with his expanding company. Therefore, giving A’ Lexus an unreasonable ultimatum to move with him, or move on. A year has passed since A'Lexus made the decision to say goodbye to Davion, when she meets a man, Terrence, who embodies the same qualities as Davion. Ignoring all the signs of his destructive past, A'Lexus continues her relationship with Terrence. Davion returns back into the picture and makes an offer to A'Lexus which rekindles mutual feelings, and gives A'Lexus a convenient way out of her unwanted marriage. Many events happen while A'Lexus is hospitalized, and years of lies are revealed, but always the hero, Davion proposes marriage, showing A'Lexus he will never leave her side again.
