A Sad Farewell is the sequel to A Joyful Reunion. Finally, Elizabeth Carol is a teenager. She has much more to worry about than falling off the merry-go-round. When a family member is killed in a tragic car accident and they find out the brakes have been tampered with, Elizabeth blames herself. She believes her ex-boyfriend is responsible. After all of the other bizarre things that have been happening, she thinks he is responsible for this accident, too. She wonders if her family can ever forgive her. Eventually, they find out the truth behind why it happened and are shocked to the core. Their lives are changed forever. Through time, they come to the realization that things can’t ever be the same, and they pick up the pieces of their lives.
